Eight Major Symptoms of Brain Tumors


Brain tumors are not such a common disease in our daily life. The incidence of brain tumors is about one in ten thousand so no-one really thinks that they would have a brain tumor. But someday, you may have a chance to consider that you might have a brain tumor. If you have some of the following symptoms, you should go to a hospital.
1. Headaches: especially, those that are worse in the morning.

2. Vomiting: headaches with vomiting are a possible sign of raised intracranial pressure.
3. Seizures: new onset of seizure in an adult is one of the signs of an underlying brain tumor.

4. Sensory and motor weakness: slipping out your slippers on only one side or dropping your chopsticks or rice bowl many times are the likely episodes at the early stage of sensory or motor disturbance.
5. Personality changes: if you become short-tempered or start to suffer from inattentiveness, you should pay attention to the existence of other signs.
6. Cognitive changes: if you gradually become more forgetful, you should get a checkup. However, it is difficult to judge this sign by oneself.
7. Vision loss: It is difficult to recognize what you can't see. If you often hit one side of your shoulder or one side of your car while you are driving, it may be a sign of defects in your visual field.
8. Hearing problems: some kind of brain tumors cause hearing disturbance.
